Open to young adults entering 10th grade- age 25
The East Haven Arts Commission will be holding four audition sessions for Footloose for young adults entering 10th grade- age 25 on May 18th with a 6:30-8:30pm time slot OR 7:30-9:30pm time slot and May 22nd with a 6:30-8:30pm time slot OR 7:30-9:30pm time slot. There is also a potential callback on May 24th from 6:30-9:30PM. All who audition that are under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult and should plan to stay for ONE of the time slots in full. Auditions will take place at Hays School- 1 Maple Street, East Haven. Everyone who auditions will be included in the production!
Auditioners should prepare to sing a capella approximately 30-60 seconds of a musical theater song of their choice. There will also be a dance audition and cold reading where you will be given a chance to read from the script. Rehearsals will take place 3-4 days a week leading up to our final performances on July 23rd, 24th, and 25th. If you are not interested in auditioning but would still like to be a part of the production that can also be arranged. There is a small participation fee to be a part of the production which covers scripts, costumes, etc.
Open to kids entering 4th graders-age 18
The East Haven Arts Commission will be holding four audition sessions for Pure Imagination for kids entering 4th graders-age 18 on June 5th with a 6:30-7:45pm time slot OR 7:45pm-9:00pm time slot and June 7th with a 12:30-1:45pm time slot OR 1:45pm-3:00pm. All who audition that are under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult and should plan to stay for ONE of the time slots in full. Auditions will take place at Hays School- 1 Maple Street, East Haven. Everyone who auditions will be included in the production!

There will also be a dance audition where you learn the choreogrpahy live. Rehearsals will take place 2-3 days a week leading up to our final performances on August 6th, 7th, and 8th If you are not interested in auditioning but would still like to be a part of the production that can also be arranged.
