Summer Youth Theater Auditions

The East Haven Arts Commission will be holding four audition sessions for Zombie Prom for current 11th graders-age 25 on May 22nd with a 6:30 PM-8:30 PM or 7:30 PM-9:30 PM time slot and May 25th with a 5:00-7:00 PM or 6:00-8:00 PM audition slot. There is also a potential callback on May 27th from 6:30-9:30 PM  All who audition that are under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult and should plan to stay for ONE of the time slots in full. Auditions will take place at Hays School- 1 Maple Street, East Haven. Everyone who auditions will be included in the production!

Auditioners should prepare to sing a capella approximately 30-60 seconds of a musical theater song of their choice. There will also be a dance audition and cold reading where you will be given a chance to read from the script. Rehearsals will take place 3-4 days a week leading up to our final performances on July 24th, 25th, and 26th. If you are not interested in auditioning but would still like to be a part of the production that can also be arranged. There is a small participation fee to be a part of the production which covers scripts, costumes, etc.
